At the end of the month I’ll be participating in a lecture series at USF gathering artists, writers, and researchers around ideas of whether we are, in fact, in this thing called the Anthropocene, and if so, how do we cope? I’ll be expanding and elaborating on the research I first presented at the ISA in Vienna this summer on the dystopian imaginary and how ideas about the Anthropocene and human-created apocalypse travel through the media. There are many other events, all of which sound fascinating—I’m thrilled to have been included. Check out the full program.
